Radio Awards Night Sees Major Wins for “Nobody Stops Us” and Aspen Radio
In a night celebrating excellence in Argentine radio,beto Casella‘s program “Nobody Stops Us” on Rock & Pop took home teh prestigious Martín Fierro de Oro for FM,marking a important achievement for the station and its team. The AM category’s top honor, the Martín Fierro de Oro AM, was awarded to Marcelo Palacios and his team for their work on “A Good Moment.”
The historic frequency Aspen Radio, known for its classic rock and international pop selections, was recognized with the inaugural Martín Fierro de Platino Radio. Gisella Marziotta, leader of the Radios of the October group, accepted the award, highlighting the station’s enduring commitment to music and its dedicated team. “It is indeed a leading music radio of the Argentine Republic,” Marziotta stated, emphasizing the “soul” behind their musical programming.Other notable wins included Cristina Pérez, who received the Martín Fierro for best female driving work in AM for her program “Cristina sin vueltas” on Radio Rivadavia. Gustavo López, sports journalist and host of “López 910” on Radio La Red, was honored with the award for best male driving work in AM.
The program “Hola Chiche,” hosted by Samuel chiche Gelblung on radio Del Plata, secured the award for best newspaper Vespertino AM. In a tie for “Best Musicalization Work,” Juan Serve of Los 40 Principales and Julián “Pento” Echavarría of Rock & Pop shared the accolade, contributing to the October Group’s impressive tally of eight awards for the night.
Gustavo Silvestre,journalist and history professor,was recognized for his best male journalistic work for his program “Silvestre” on Radio 10. Romina Manguel earned the award for best female journalistic work for her program “No dejes para mañana” on Radio con vos. Further solidifying its success, “nobody Stops Us” also triumphed in the “Best Daily Program of General Interest in FM” category.
