Marmande to Host Double Tribute Concert Featuring Eagles and Johnny Hallyday
Marmande, Lot-et-Garonne – A new local association is bringing a rare double-bill tribute concert to Marmande on November 1, 2025, featuring performances honoring the Eagles and the iconic French singer Johnny Hallyday. The event, organized by Decibel Animation, aims to deliver a large-scale musical experience to the region.
Decibel Animation debuted in Marmande this past March with a U2 tribute, though the event drew a smaller-than-expected crowd of 200 attendees. Despite the turnout, organizers Grégory and Fabrice expressed satisfaction with the quality of the show, stating, “But everyone was delighted, there was sound and spectacle.” They are resolute to build a presence in the area, but acknowledge the event’s success is crucial: “If our next evening of concerts does not work, we will leave Marmande to offer them elsewhere.”
The November 1st concert will span three hours and feature live musicians. The Johnny Hallyday tribute promises a especially grand spectacle, incorporating brass instruments and a performer described as a vocal and physical double who has toured for over 15 years. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with concerts beginning at 8:30 p.m.Attendees can also enjoy offerings from local food trucks Van’s Foodtruck and Singaporea.
Following the concert, Decibel Animation will host a card game tournament at the Espace Expo on Sunday, November 2nd, with €6,400 in prizes.
Tickets for the concert are priced at €20,with a reduced rate of €15 for children under 13,and for groups exceeding ten people or company employee associations (CEs). Reservations can be made at the Marmande tourist Office by calling 05 53 64 44 44. Volunteers are also being sought; interested individuals can contact 07 49 20 47 10.
