The National Association of Actors and Actresses (ANDA) confirmed Vela’s death on Friday, expressing their deep regret. “The National Association of Actors and Actresses deeply regrets the death of our colleague María del Carmen vela, ‘Maricarmen Vela,’ honorary member of our Union. Our condolences to her family, friends and colleagues. Rest in Peace,” the association stated.
