Manchester City Announce 25-Man Squad for Napoli Champions league Opener
MANCHESTER – Manchester City has revealed the 25-man squad observed during training preparations for their UEFA Champions League Group Stage opener against Napoli this week. The session at the City Football Academy showcased a team buoyed by a 3-0 victory over Manchester United, fueled by a brace from Erling Haaland and a goal from Phil Foden.
The squad list is as follows:
Goalkeepers: donnarumma, Trafford, Ortega Moreno, Bettinelli.
Defenders: Lewis, Khusanov, Stones, Dias, Mfuni, Ake, gvardiol.
Midfielders: rodri, Nico, phillips, O’Reilly, Nunes, Reijnders, Bernardo, Mukasa, Foden.

Mateo Kovacic is nearing a return from Achilles surgery, while Rayan Ait-Nouri (ankle), Rayan Cherki (thigh), and Omar Marmoush (knee) are not expected back until around the next international break. john stones has returned to training following a minor muscular issue sustained during England duty, and Kalvin Phillips continues to build fitness.
The training squad included Academy promotions for Stephen Mfuni,Divine Mukasa,and reigan Heskey.
