SINGAPORE – A man has been charged with assault following an incident at the Singapore premiere of Wicked: For Good on Tuesday, where he allegedly grabbed and embraced actress Ariana Grande while she was on the yellow carpet. the 32-year-old, identified as Abdelhamid Ahmed Al-hagri, was charged Wednesday in a Singapore court, according to local reports.

He appeared to aggressively pull her into an embrace, prompting immediate intervention from costar cynthia Erivo, who pushed him away and checked on Grande’s well-being.
