A 33-year-old man was fatally shot in West Los Angeles early Sunday morning, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. The shooting occurred near the intersection of Beloit and Missouri avenues, close to the 405 Freeway and Sawtelle Boulevard, shortly after midnight.

Police responded to reports of gunfire in the area just after midnight and discovered the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene. Authorities have not yet released the victim’s name pending notification of next of kin.
