Man Attacked with Weapon: Police Seek Nissan Qashqai Driver

Urgent Appeal After 12-Year-Old boy Assaulted on ‍Stockport Road

Timperley, Greater Manchester – Police‍ are urgently appealing for facts after a 12-year-old boy was injured in an assault by a man in a car on Stockport Road ‌in Timperley last Friday. The incident occurred at approximately ⁤6:30pm on November‌ 21.

According to reports, a white Nissan Qashqai pulled up on the kerb, and the ‍driver exited the vehicle before allegedly ‘jabbing’ the boy three times with a weapon. The victim, who was with friends at the time, ran away after the attack.

Greater Manchester Police have launched an investigation and are seeking to‌ identify ​the‍ suspect, ‍who remains at large. ‍The assault is described as “wholly unprovoked” by the​ victim’s mother, who shared images of her son’s injuries ‍on social media, urging parents to be “extra vigilant.”

A GMP spokesperson stated, “We ‌are appealing for information following an assault of a boy by an unknown man…⁣ If you witnessed the⁤ assault, have CCTV or‍ Dashcam footage, please call⁣ us on 0161 856​ 3001 quoting log 2798 of 21/11/25.”
