Urgent Appeal After 12-Year-Old boy Assaulted on Stockport Road
Timperley, Greater Manchester – Police are urgently appealing for facts after a 12-year-old boy was injured in an assault by a man in a car on Stockport Road in Timperley last Friday. The incident occurred at approximately 6:30pm on November 21.
According to reports, a white Nissan Qashqai pulled up on the kerb, and the driver exited the vehicle before allegedly ‘jabbing’ the boy three times with a weapon. The victim, who was with friends at the time, ran away after the attack.
Greater Manchester Police have launched an investigation and are seeking to identify the suspect, who remains at large. The assault is described as “wholly unprovoked” by the victim’s mother, who shared images of her son’s injuries on social media, urging parents to be “extra vigilant.”
A GMP spokesperson stated, “We are appealing for information following an assault of a boy by an unknown man… If you witnessed the assault, have CCTV or Dashcam footage, please call us on 0161 856 3001 quoting log 2798 of 21/11/25.”
