Actress Lyubov Virolainen Announces Divorce from Konstantin Plotnikov, Cites Years of Infidelity and Neglect

Moscow,‌ Russia – Actress Lyubov Virolainen has publicly announced her divorce from actor ⁤Konstantin Plotnikov, alleging a years-long‍ pattern​ of infidelity​ and emotional neglect. ‍Virolainen‌ detailed a painful breakdown of the marriage,‌ marked by her‌ husband’s affairs and consistent absence, culminating in a final, ‌devastating humiliation.

The divorce follows a year ⁣of attempted reconciliation,including couples therapy,which‍ ultimately failed to⁣ repair the damage caused by Plotnikov’s alleged behavior.Virolainen stated ‍Plotnikov was absent for their initial⁤ court ⁣hearing, leaving her to manage⁤ the legal proceedings ⁢independently. The declaration arrives as Plotnikov stars in the new series “Sovereign,” where he plays the lead role of Peter the Great.

According​ to Virolainen, the issues began after Plotnikov’s initial success. She claimed ‍he engaged in multiple affairs, with one woman⁤ publicly acknowledged at a film premiere. “After the fact of the first betrayal with the⁣ girl, who dressed‍ him on the red ‌carpet of his first premiere, was revealed, I ​wanted to leave, but decided to forgive,” she shared. “We have a family, a small child…probably, he just could not cope.”

Virolainen described a particularly painful incident at a hotel where she was addressed by one of Plotnikov’s alleged⁣ partners. “The humiliation that I felt cannot be‍ conveyed in words. I wanted to die at that moment,” she stated. ‌She further alleged ‌that each new project for Plotnikov seemed ⁤to coincide with a new relationship.

Concluding her social ‍media post, Virolainen ​wrote, “Today we have been divorced. I am ‍free from your⁣ dirt, constant lies and miserable humiliations. You no longer have power over me, ⁤Narcissus Andreevich.”
