Austin,TX – August 29,2024 – Turnpike Troubadours have unveiled the tracklist for their upcoming album,”Catfish & Walleye,” set for release on October 11,2024,via Rounder Records. The proclamation follows the band’s highly anticipated return to the stage after a five-year hiatus, marked by sold-out shows across the country.
The 16-song collection, recorded at Yellow Dog Studios in Wimberley, Texas, represents the band’s first studio album since 2017’s “A Cat in the Rafters.” The album’s creation involved the core band members – Evan Felker,Kyle Hughes,Ryan Engleman,T. Scott Webb, and Zach Boulanger – and was produced by Shooter Jennings.
Fans have already been treated to a preview of the album with the release of “Back In the Saddle,” a single that quickly climbed the Texas regional Radio charts. As of today, it remains unconfirmed whether “Back In the Saddle” will be included on the final album tracklist.
