HOOVER, Ala. – A stellar performance from four Ole Miss pitchers propelled the Rebels to a 2-0 victory over LSU in the Southeastern Conference (SEC) Tournament semifinal. The dominant pitching display limited the Tigers to a mere two hits, securing Ole Miss’s spot in the championship game.
Ole Miss now stands at 40-18 for the season and will face Vanderbilt in the tournament championship game Sunday at Noon CT. The rebels are looking to add another trophy to their case.
LSU Looks Ahead to NCAA Regionals
LSU, despite the loss, holds a strong 43-14 record.The Tigers are set to compete in the regional round of the NCAA tournament, with their first game scheduled for Friday. The NCAA Regional sites will be announced Sunday at 7:30 p.m. CT, followed by the unveiling of the 64-team field Monday at 11 a.m. CT on ESPN2.
