Love Is Blind’s Chris Fusco: Sued for $63K Debt Before Show?

February 25, 2026 Priya Shah – Business Editor Business

Before appearing on the Netflix reality show Love Is Blind, Chris Fusco was reportedly facing legal action over significant credit card debt. Lawsuits filed in 2024 alleged he owed a combined $63,000 to American Express and Chase Bank, according to court records.

American Express filed a lawsuit against Fusco in February 2024, seeking nearly $29,000 in unpaid credit card bills. The case was quickly resolved and dismissed with prejudice in April 2024, indicating a full settlement or resolution in favor of American Express.

A separate lawsuit filed by Chase Bank alleged an outstanding balance of $36,000. This case persisted for a year, culminating in a Notice of Garnishment issued in November 2024. This legal maneuver allowed Chase Bank to directly seize funds from Fusco’s wages to satisfy the debt. The case was closed with a final filing in November 2025, according to available records.

Fusco’s appearance on Love Is Blind Season 10 has been marked by controversy, including scrutiny over his political views and comments made towards fellow contestant Jessica Vestal. Entertainment Weekly reported Fusco addressed allegations of “body-shaming” Jessica, as well as questions regarding direct messages sent to another contestant, Bri and a previously circulated photograph from a strip club.

Recent reports indicate the cast is grappling with the fallout from Fusco’s behavior on the show. The Tab reported on the reactions of cast members following Fusco’s actions.

Reality Shrine reached out to Chris Fusco for comment but did not receive a response.
