London, ON – A 47-year-old London man faces robbery and sexual assault charges following an investigation initiated after a woman reported being victimized at a local hotel. Herbert Orozco was arrested November 6, 2025, and subsequently released on an undertaking with a court appearance scheduled for December 17, 2025.
The London Police Service (LPS) initially responded to a 9-1-1 call from the victim, who reported being sexually assaulted and robbed after agreeing to provide services to the suspect. While the initial response came from the LPS Uniformed Division, the investigation was quickly reassigned to the LPS Human Trafficking Unit, recognizing potential indicators of exploitation. The victim sustained minor injuries during the incident.
According to police, the suspect and the woman had agreed upon terms for services before meeting at a hotel, where the suspect then paid for the services. Following the assault and robbery, Orozco fled the scene.
Orozco is charged with robbery with violence or threats, sexual assault, and obtaining sexual services for consideration.
