Lola Young Cancels All Tour Dates Following On-Stage Collapse
Rising pop artist Lola Young has cancelled all upcoming tour dates, including shows in England, Scotland, the US, Mexico, Canada, South America, and Europe scheduled through 2026, following a collapse onstage during a performance on Tuesday. The announcement comes after Young briefly lost consciousness while singing “Conceited” from her second studio album, This Wasn’t Meant For You Anyway.
The cancellations mark a significant disruption for the 20-year-old artist, who has quickly become a prominent voice in contemporary pop and a celebrated songwriter. Young, who recently released her third album I’m Only F**king Myself, had been building momentum with three UK top 40 singles and one top 10 album. This pause in her career impacts not only her fans but also the broader music industry, which has recognized her talent with awards including the Ivors Rising Star award earlier this year.
Following the incident, rapper Doechii led the crowd in a show of support, encouraging them to chant “we love you Lola.” Young later addressed fans via social media, stating, “I’m gonna go away for a while to work on myself. I’ll give you a second chance once I’ve had some time to work on myself and come back stronger.Love you all, Lola x.”
Young had previously cancelled a performance at New Jersey’s Prudential center on Friday and is known for openly discussing her experiences with mental health. She was also nominated for Best Pop video at the 2025 UK Music Video Awards for her song “One Thing.”
The decision to halt touring reflects young’s commitment to prioritizing her well-being as she focuses on personal recovery. Further updates regarding her return to music will be announced at a later date.
