Actress Lola Marois, partner of comedian jean-Marie Bigard, has confirmed she will portray a pregnancy storyline in the revived series Plus belle la vie. The reveal follows an on-set moment where Marois playfully announced, “It’s okay Lola, you’re not pregnant,” after momentarily believing she was experiencing symptoms, then laughing and stating, “Life is more beautiful.”
Marois shared a series of photos with co-star David Baïot on Instagram, showcasing a prosthetic belly used for the role. The storyline will see her character, Ariane, continuing her relationship with Djawad, and promises ”intense moments that are as funny as they are intimate and powerful,” according to Marois. while the actress was not visibly pregnant during initial filming for the series’ return, upcoming episodes will feature her character in a visibly advanced stage of pregnancy.

She continued, expressing gratitude to Plus belle la vie and TF1 for the opportunity, and thanking Baïot for their collaboration.
