Logitech launches Rally Bar 2 and enterprise hardware suite
Logitech International announced its most significant enterprise product expansion to date on October 8, 2026, unveiling a suite of hardware designed to integrate edge AI processing into meeting spaces. The new portfolio, which includes the Rally Bar 2, the modular Rally System 2 Pro, and proprietary Sound Shape audio technology, targets the technical requirements of large-scale, multi-purpose, and divisible rooms. According to the company, these releases are intended to address the dual IT mandate of supporting current collaboration workflows while preparing infrastructure for future AI-driven applications.
Key Technical Developments for Enterprise Infrastructure:
- Rally Bar 2 integrates a new Qualcomm chipset, which the company states provides four times the edge AI processing power compared to existing market alternatives.
- Sound Shape audio technology utilizes focused acoustic beams to distribute sound evenly across spaces up to 20 meters, aiming to replace complex ceiling speaker arrays.
- The modular Rally System 2 Pro introduces native AV-over-IP connectivity using standard Category cabling, eliminating the need for external extenders or specialized PoE injectors.
Qualcomm SoC Boosts Edge AI for Real Estate Optimization
The Rally Bar 2 serves as the primary upgrade to Logitech’s existing video bar line. By transitioning to a new Qualcomm-based system-on-chip (SoC), the device increases the overhead for edge-based machine learning tasks. This compute capacity is utilized for real-time occupancy detection and environmental sensing, data points that IT departments can use to optimize real estate. The hardware features a custom-engineered 1-inch sensor and a high-resolution lens system, accompanied by the Right Sound 3 audio processing suite.
From an interoperability standpoint, the device is certified for Microsoft Teams, Zoom Rooms, and Google Meet. It is built on the Microsoft Device Ecosystem Platform (MDEP), which aligns the hardware with enterprise security standards for endpoint management.

Modular Scaling with Rally System 2 Pro
The Rally System 2 Pro is designed for complex, divisible spaces that historically require multi-vendor integration and custom cabling. The system centers on the RoomMate 2 Pro, a compute module capable of driving up to three 4K displays simultaneously. The system utilizes “Logitech Link,” an AV-over-IP protocol that simplifies the physical layer by allowing cameras, speakers, and mic pods to communicate over standard Ethernet cabling.
This modular approach allows IT teams to scale components based on room size. The Right Sight 3 feature, which coordinates multi-camera tracking across different angles, is scheduled for a broader release in the second half of 2027 as a firmware update via CollabOS.

Audio Distribution via Sound Shape Technology
The introduction of Sound Shape technology in the Rally Speaker 2 Pro and Rally Speaker 2 Max addresses the acoustic challenges of large executive boardrooms and training facilities. Historically, achieving consistent audio intelligibility in long rooms required expensive, labor-intensive ceiling speaker arrays. Sound Shape uses 32 micro-drivers in the Pro model and 64 in the Max model to create focused acoustic beams, theoretically maintaining consistent volume levels for listeners at the front and back of the room.
Initial Hardware Ships Now with Modular Components Coming 2027
The initial phase of the rollout, including the Rally Bar 2 ($4,299), Tap IP 2 ($1,299), and Tap Scheduler 2 ($1,299), is currently underway globally. The more complex modular components, including the Rally System 2 Pro and the full Rally Speaker 2 lineup, are slated for a summer 2027 release. The company has opened demo access at its Silicon Valley experience center. While the hardware is shipping now, the advanced multi-camera tracking software, Right Sight 3, remains in development with a target release in the second half of 2027.
