New Video Surfaces in Charlie Kirk Shooting, Authorities Renew Plea for Public’s Help
OREM, Utah – Utah authorities have released compelling new video footage of the suspect involved in the shooting of conservative activist Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University (UVU) last week, and are urgently asking for the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the individual.
The video, presented at a press conference today, depicts a person lying prone on the roof of a campus building before rising, running across the rooftop, and ultimately jumping down onto the lawn while carrying a backpack.
“The suspect, after dropping off the building, moved around across this grass area around the parking lot,” explained Utah Department of Public Safety Commissioner Beau Mason, narrating the footage.

The FBI is leading the examination into the shooting, which occurred during a Young America’s Foundation event featuring kirk.While Kirk was unharmed, the incident has sparked widespread concern and a heightened focus on campus security.
Authorities have not yet released details regarding a potential motive. They are urging anyone with information about the suspect - or thier whereabouts - to come forward.
