LIV Golf Launches CMO Search Following David Harter‘s Exit
NEW YORK – LIV Golf is seeking a new Chief Marketing Officer after David Harter announced his departure from the association. Harter,who joined LIV Golf in 2023,expressed continued respect for the golf series and its team while signaling a move to a new venture. His exit initiates a critical search for a marketing leader as LIV Golf prepares for its 2026 season and continues efforts to expand its commercial partnerships and global reach.
Harter’s departure comes as LIV Golf solidifies its position within the professional golf landscape, having recently concluded its 2025 season and scheduled its 2026 campaign to begin in Riyadh from February 5-7.The search for his replacement is particularly meaningful as LIV Golf aims to further elevate its brand profile, attract new sponsors, and engage a broader audience. Prior to LIV,Harter spent over 22 years at PepsiCo,gaining extensive experience in brand management,innovation,and marketing strategy.
LIV Golf has been actively strengthening its commercial portfolio, recently adding Fever, roshn, HSBC, and Salesforce as official partners. The organization has also recently appointed chris Heck as President of Business Operations and Scott O’Neill as Chief Executive, signaling a period of organizational growth.
