Paul Doyle, 53, of Burghill Road in West Derby, has been charged with multiple offenses related to the incident. He faces two counts of wounding with intent, two charges of inflicting grievous bodily harm, two of attempting to inflict grievous bodily harm, and risky driving.

A trial has been scheduled for November 24, with an estimated duration of three to four weeks. A plea hearing is scheduled for August 14.
