Leeds United is on the verge of securing the signing of midfielder Anton Stach from Hoffenheim, with the player reportedly undergoing his medical. This move is expected to bolster the midfield, providing a defensive screen in front of the team’s backline.

The transfer is in its final stages, according to journalist Graham Smyth, who shared the update on X on July 21. Stach’s arrival is anticipated to allow him to feature in pre-season matches against Villarreal and AC Milan next month. Additionally, Brenden Aaronson is set to join the squad in Germany on Tuesday.

Leeds United Faces Striker Shortage Amidst Midfield Reinforcement

With Patrick Bamford no longer part of the squad for Leeds’ Premier League campaign, the club’s need for a new striker has become a significant priority for the ownership. The uncertainty surrounding Mateo Joseph’s future at the club further emphasizes the urgency to strengthen the forward line.

Currently, joel Piroe and Lukas Nmecha are the primary options available to lead the attack. The club has been linked with Rodrigo Muniz of Fulham, and despite an initial £32 million bid being rejected, Leeds reportedly remains interested in the Brazilian forward.
