Le Creuset Launches Limited-Edition Star Trek Cookware Collection for 60th Anniversary

September 10, 2026 Julia Evans – Entertainment Editor Entertainment

As the Star Trek franchise marks its official 60th birthday this September, luxury cookware manufacturer Le Creuset has launched a limited-edition collaboration featuring cast-iron Dutch ovens, baking dishes, and themed accessories designed in partnership with Paramount Products & Experiences.

Engineering Intergalactic Cookware Economics

According to TrekCore, the collaboration spans multiple shapes and materials tailored for home cooks willing to invest in high-end licensed merchandise. The product line is anchored by two flagship Dutch ovens. The 5.5-quart U.S.S. Enterprise Signature Round Dutch Oven is cast in French Grey and features the Constitution-class starship orbiting the lid, with Le Creuset’s traditional concentric lid rings doubling as warp trails. Inside the lid, the phrase “To Boldly Go Where No One Has Gone Before” is inscribed. The item lists for $500 in the United States and £425 in the United Kingdom.

To test the durability of the manufacturing process before public release, Le Creuset partnered with Sent into Space to send one of the Enterprise Dutch ovens above the atmosphere, floating it at the edge of space for more than an hour, as reported by Wired. Accompanying the fleet is a 3.5-quart Klingon-themed shallow Dutch oven in a bold colorway featuring a Bird of Prey graphic on the lid and the Klingon Empire trefoil symbol as a handle. The interior text reads the traditional greeting “Qapla’” in Klingon script. The Klingon casserole is priced at $450 in the U.S. and £385 in the U.K.

Balancing Brand Equity and High-End Manufacturing Costs

The collection rounds out with a rectangular 2.5-quart baking dish styled after the Shuttlecraft Galileo in Le Creuset’s signature brioche color scheme, complete with sculpted warp nacelles, retailing at $150 in the U.S. and £130 in the U.K. Nate Collier, Senior Director of Marketing Communications and Culinary at Le Creuset, noted via TrekCore that the project aimed to merge the studio’s most recognizable symbols with traditional heavy-gauge iron craftsmanship. For collectors prioritizing modular customization, individual replacement handles molded into gold Starfleet deltas or Klingon emblems are available separately for $50 or £40.

Retail Logistics and Anniversary Curation

Beyond heavy cast iron, the wider Star Trek Day commercial landscape includes themed steelbooks, intricate ship models, and specialized apparel distributed through official studio channels and partner outlets such as Williams Sonoma. Le Creuset’s entry into the space follows previous licensed cookware lines tied to intellectual properties like Star Wars, Harry Potter, Pokémon, and Wicked, signaling an ongoing corporate strategy to capture fandom disposable income through premium culinary hardware.
