bank of Latvia⁤ to Release ‘Stream‘ Silver Coin Honoring Oscar-Winning ‌Film

Riga,⁢ Latvia ⁤ – The Bank‌ of Latvia will issue a limited-edition silver collection coin on⁣ Wednesday, December 10th, celebrating the critically acclaimed and Oscar-winning animated film, “Stream” (Straume). The announcement was made by the Bank of Latvia today.

The coin’s obverse features‌ a striking depiction of the film’s protagonist: a ⁤dark gray cat with prominent yellow eyes. The inscriptions ⁣”Flow” and “Straume” arc along the lower ​edge of the coin‌ in⁤ English and latvian, respectively.

The reverse side showcases a charming ensemble of ⁤additional characters ⁤from ⁣”Stream,”‌ including a dog, another cat,‍ a capybara, a lemur, and a​ bird, bringing the beloved story to life in precious metal.
