bank of Latvia to Release ‘Stream‘ Silver Coin Honoring Oscar-Winning Film
Riga, Latvia – The Bank of Latvia will issue a limited-edition silver collection coin on Wednesday, December 10th, celebrating the critically acclaimed and Oscar-winning animated film, “Stream” (Straume). The announcement was made by the Bank of Latvia today.
The coin’s obverse features a striking depiction of the film’s protagonist: a dark gray cat with prominent yellow eyes. The inscriptions ”Flow” and “Straume” arc along the lower edge of the coin in English and latvian, respectively.
The reverse side showcases a charming ensemble of additional characters from ”Stream,” including a dog, another cat, a capybara, a lemur, and a bird, bringing the beloved story to life in precious metal.
