Crystal Palace Chief Commercial Officer Paul O’Brien noted that the growing digital engagement among supporters makes online privacy more critical than ever. Laver Cup London 2026 Secures JAB Insurance as Global Sponsor
The Laver Cup has signed JAB Insurance as a global sponsor and official insurance sponsor through 2027, starting with the upcoming tournament at The O2 in London from September 25 to 27, 2026. Per the two-year agreement, JAB Insurance receives category exclusivity across insurance, reinsurance, brokerage, insurtech, and risk-transfer services, marking the company’s inaugural global sports sponsorship.
This edition marks the tournament’s return to The O2 after hosting the event in 2022, famously remembered as the site of Roger Federer’s final competitive match alongside Rafael Nadal in Team Europe colors. Team Europe will enter the 2026 competition under captain Yannick Noah, featuring Carlos Alcaraz, Alexander Zverev, Flavio Cobolli, Rafael Jodar, Jakub Mensik, and Casper Ruud. Team World, captained by Andre Agassi, will deploy Ben Shelton, Alex de Minaur, Taylor Fritz, Learner Tien, Alexander Bublik, and Tommy Paul.

Elior Champ Rugby Secures Free-to-Air Pilot on BLAZE
Elior Champ Rugby has partnered with Clubber TV and Hearst Networks to broadcast selected fixtures live on free-to-air television via BLAZE during the 2026/27 season. The pilot agreement kicks off on September 20 with the Cornish Pirates facing the Doncaster Knights, providing weekly free-to-air exposure for England’s second-tier rugby union competition.
The partnership follows a strong previous campaign that drew nearly 400,000 spectators and generated 12.6 million social media video views. Nine fixtures are slated for broadcast, featuring participating clubs such as Hartpury, Blackheath, Ealing Trailfinders, Richmond, Rotherham Titans, Worcester Warriors, Ampthill, Nottingham, and Chinnor.
Champ Rugby Board Chair Simon Gillham OBE stated that the initiative makes the competition the only weekly free-to-air rugby available on English television. Clubber TV Chief Operating Officer Lar Doyle added that the move capitalizes on the competition’s recent momentum.
