Laneway Festival 2027 Lineup: Fontaines D.C. and Hayley Williams to Headline
Fontaines D.C. and Hayley Williams will headline the 22nd edition of the Laneway Festival, touring across Australia and New Zealand during the southern summer of February 2027. The multi-genre festival features stops in Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, and Auckland, with pre-sales opening on October 7.
Festival Lineup and International Pull
Entering its 22nd year, the cooler-than-dry-ice bill brings together a diverse roster of alternative, hip-hop, punk, and indie acts. Alongside headliners Fontaines D.C. and Hayley Williams—who brings “The Hayley Williams Show” to New Zealand for her first solo performances in the country—the lineup includes Slayyyter, ADÉLA, Kim Petras, Muna, Ninajirachi, Rico Nasty, and Rachel Chinouriri. New Zealand dates will also showcase local talent, including Balu Brigada, MOKOMOKAI, Office Dog, Greatsouth, and O & The Mo.
The festival’s previous run shifted over 200,000 tickets, anchored by headliner Chappell Roan. In Auckland, the event drew a crowd of around 36,000 fans. Organizers position the event as a key platform for spotting rising talent early, noting that past iterations featured early-career sets from artists like Billie Eilish, Florence + the Machine, Charli xcx, Clairo, Mitski, Tame Impala, and Fred Again.
Tour Logistics and Scaled-Back Routing
Reps from Handsome Tours and Laneway Presents confirmed adjustments to the 2027 itinerary, scaling back the Perth and Adelaide legs into dedicated sideshows. Fontaines D.C. and Jane Remover will play both cities, while hyper-pop artist Tiffany Day joins the Perth performance, with further updates promised by promoters.
