Lamar Odom Leaves Rehab, Launches Wellness Platform After DUI Arrest

Lamar Odom has completed a 30-day voluntary treatment program at the iRely Recovery facility in Los Angeles, following a DUI arrest earlier this year, according to reports from TMZ.

The former NBA player was arrested for driving under the influence in Las Vegas, with police reporting his vehicle “reeked of weed.” While Odom initially stated that neither alcohol nor narcotics were involved, he later acknowledged smoking marijuana earlier in the day. The arrest prompted his decision to enter the rehabilitation program.

Odom’s manager, Gina Rodriguez, explained to TMZ that the former basketball star proactively sought treatment, motivated by a desire to prevent potential escalation to harder drugs. Rodriguez highlighted Odom’s existing relationship with Vinsent Franke, the CEO of iRely Recovery, as a factor in his choice of facility. Franke had previously invited Odom to explore the iRely program after hearing him deliver a candid speech at the Annual California Addiction Conference in 2023, detailing his struggles with substance abuse.

During his time in rehab, Odom reportedly received support from friends and family, and was described as “doing really decent” and “feeling amazing” by a source close to him, as reported by Los Angeles Today on February 20, 2026.

Odom’s history with addiction has been well-documented, including a near-fatal overdose at a Nevada brothel in 2015. That incident resulted in 12 strokes and six heart attacks, requiring extensive rehabilitation to regain his ability to walk and speak. A subsequent relapse led to the dissolution of his marriage to Khloe Kardashian in 2016.

The couple’s relationship, which began after a whirlwind courtship of just 30 days and was chronicled in the reality television series “Khloe & Lamar,” was significantly impacted by Odom’s concealed struggles with addiction. Kardashian reportedly remained unaware of the extent of his issues until a year into their marriage, after discovering cocaine. She and her family attempted to intervene and provide support, with Kardashian ultimately filing for divorce in 2013, a move she later described as an attempt to motivate him to seek help.

Emerging from the 30-day program, Odom is now focusing on a new entrepreneurial venture: HealLO.co. The platform, described as an A.I.-powered search engine, aims to connect individuals with a comprehensive range of wellness and treatment centers nationwide.
