Lamar Jackson Full Practice Boosts Ravens Ahead of Bills Game
Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson participated fully in practice on Wednesday, marking his first full session in 24 days since spraining his left ankle against the Tennessee Titans.
Jackson Returns to Practice With Bandaged Ankle
Jackson returned to the practice field with his left ankle heavily taped, moving smoothly while throwing passes to wide receiver Zay Flowers and handing off to running back Derrick Henry. The two-time NFL Most Valuable Player has missed Baltimore’s last three games after sustaining the injury during the final offensive play of the first half in a 24-18 victory over Tennessee.
Head coach Jesse Minter addressed the quarterback’s status following Wednesday’s session.
Cuanto más puedes hacer, y según cómo respondes y cómo te sientes, sin duda eso aumenta tu optimismo.
Minter stated that optimism grows as Jackson responds to increased workload. During the contest against Tennessee, Jackson completed 15 of 20 passes for 222 yards and two touchdowns before exiting in the second half, according to reporting.
Offensive Production Without the Starting Quarterback
The Ravens hold a 1-2 record with Tyler Huntley filling in as the starter during Jackson’s absence. Last season, Huntley posted a 2-0 record as a starter, defeating two teams that reached the National Football Conference playoffs: the Chicago Bears and the Green Bay Packers. Baltimore has struggled to generate points after halftime in recent weeks, failing to score in the second half of their losses over the previous two games.
Statistical drop-offs highlight the team’s reliance on their starting signal-caller. In 14 quarters with Jackson on the field this season, the offense has produced 14 touchdowns. In 14 quarters without him, Baltimore has managed only five touchdowns.

Offensive lineman Ronnie Stanley emphasized the impact of Jackson’s potential return ahead of a matchup against the Buffalo Bills.
Lamar es el mejor jugador de la NFL, y todos sabemos lo gran jugador que es. Pero tampoco queremos depender de que él tenga que cargar con todo el equipo.
Stanley noted that while Jackson provides an undeniable boost, the rest of the roster must execute.
Upcoming Matchup Against Buffalo
The Ravens sit at 4-3 and occupy the last place in the AFC North division heading into Sunday’s game against the 5-1 Buffalo Bills. For this upcoming contest, the Ravens ruled out three players: cornerback Marlon Humphrey due to a calf injury, right guard Andrew Vorhees with a foot injury, and tight end Durham Smythe because of an Achilles tendon injury. Running back Derrick Henry shared his perspective on Jackson’s return to the huddle.
Él es el corazón y el alma de este equipo y de la ofensiva. Así que cada vez que está ahí, siempre es algo muy positivo.
Jackson left M&T Bank Stadium wearing a protective boot following the Titans game, initially facing a day-to-day evaluation timeline reported by Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. With Wednesday’s full participation designation on the team practice report, Baltimore prepares to evaluate his readiness for Sunday’s road contest in Buffalo.
