La Renga: Extended Subway Hours for Hurricane Show

Buenos aires Subway Extends Hours for La Renga Concerts, Aiming to Ease Traffic & Boost City Culture

Buenos Aires, Argentina – July 2, 2025 – Buenos Aires’ Subte (subway) Line H will be extending its operating hours this week to accommodate concertgoers attending performances by the popular rock band La Renga at Estadio Tomás Adolfo Ducó [[1]], [[2]]. The extended service will be in effect on Tuesday, July 1st, and Saturday, July 5th, with the last train departing from Casanova station (the closest to the stadium) at 1:00 AM.

This initiative, announced by SBASE (the company administering the Subte network), aims to “facilitate the return home” for attendees and reduce reliance on private transportation [[3]]. Five stations will remain open for passenger drop-off: Humberto I,Eleven – December 30,Corrientes,Santa Fe-C. Jáurogui, and Law Faculty-Julieta Lanteri, strategically chosen based on estimated passenger flow and connections to other transport options [[3]].

The move is also framed as a way to “enhance culture in the city of Buenos Aires” by promoting enduring transportation to large events. La Renga, who recently returned to Buenos Aires stages after an eight-year absence, will perform their final two shows at Estadio Tomás Adolfo Ducó on the aforementioned dates [[3]].
