Bogotá’s Teatro al Aire Libre La Media Torta will host the free, one-day El Concierskazo Fest 2026 this Friday, March 1st, featuring a diverse lineup of ska bands, theatrical performances, and graphic arts, according to a statement released by the Instituto Distrital de las Artes (Idartes).
The festival, which runs from 11:00 a.m. To 7:00 p.m., will showcase both local and international artists. Headlining the event is Triciclo Circus Band from Mexico, alongside Colombian groups El Punto Ska, La Real Skademia, Breska, La Raska, and Skartone. Musical selections will also be provided by Big Dirty Beat, Christine Killer, and Black Rooster Selectah, offering a range of ska and related urban musical styles.
El Concierskazo Fest 2026 emerged from Idartes’ “¡Arma tu festival!” cultural invitation, with El Punto Ska winning the opportunity to organize the event. This funding allowed the festival to become part of the official programming for La Media Torta and guarantee free access for the public, Idartes confirmed.
Beyond the musical performances, the festival will include a fair featuring entrepreneurs affiliated with Memorias Colombia, a foundation supporting former combatants from the La Candelaria district. Attendees will also have the opportunity to customize t-shirts at an “estampatón” for 10,000 Colombian pesos, and witness live painting and graffiti art created by Mat Creativo (SIC).
The event will be hosted by Diana “Amaranta,” a cultural manager and dancer from Bogotá, and Iván Samudio, a journalist, radio host, and podcaster known for his perform with Anti*Cast and 4LT3R, a radio program dedicated to ska, punk, and hardcore music.
Idartes stated that the festival aims to strengthen the cultural use of public spaces, promote art as a tool for coexistence, and foster community processes and creative networks within Bogotá. The event is intended to celebrate the diversity of ska and its connections to other contemporary urban scenes.
