konami Surveys Fans on ‌Next Metal Gear Remake following Snake Eater Success

Konami is gauging‌ fan interest in remaking additional titles from the Metal Gear series, following the strong commercial performance of Metal Gear Solid Δ:⁢ Snake Eater, which has already sold over one million ⁣copies. A recent survey unveiled at the Tokyo Game Show asks players which ‍classic metal⁢ Gear games they woudl like to see remade next.

The survey, reported by Metal Gear Network and previously noted by Insider Gaming, presents a list of potential remake candidates including:‍ Metal gear, Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, Metal Gear Solid V:⁤ Ground Zeroes, and Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. An “Other” option with a text field⁢ is also provided.

This‍ move signals Konami’s apparent willingness to continue‌ investing in the Metal gear franchise after a period of relative ‍dormancy, perhaps offering fans further modernized experiences of beloved titles originally created by Hideo‍ Kojima.
