## Kia Celebrates 80 Years with Heritage Exhibition and Future Concept Reveal
Kia commemorated its 80th anniversary with a significant event held at Vision Square,unveiling its future concept car,the ’Vision Metaturismo’,for the first time. Alongside the reveal, Kia presented a comprehensive look at its history through the “Legacy of Movement” exhibition.
The exhibition, open from December 5th and running untill 2029, showcases 17 vehicles charting Kia’s evolution, beginning with the first domestically produced bicycle, the ‘3000 Liho’ completed in 1952, and continuing through iconic models like the ‘Sportage‘ and ‘Carnival‘. Organized into eight detailed spaces, the exhibition explores themes such as Kia’s origins and founder Kim Cheol-ho’s vision (“Wheels and Legacy”), its customer-centric approach (“Evolution and Legacy”), and its global expansion (“Pioneer and Legacy”).
A dedicated space, “People and Heritage,” highlights the leadership of Hyundai Motor Group Honorary Chairman Chung Mong-koo, emphasizing his commitment to quality management – “if you lose quality, you lose everything” – alongside the enduring popularity of models like the ‘Sportage’ and ‘Carnival’. This section connects Kia’s success to both its loyal customer base and the behind-the-scenes dedication to quality and global management.
