Guitarist Linked to Keith Urban‘s Divorce May Be in a Relationship
NASHVILLE, TN - A guitarist who became entangled in rumors surrounding the recent split between country star Keith Urban and actress Nicole Kidman may already be in a relationship, according to reports. The musician’s name surfaced after Urban allegedly altered lyrics during a performance to reference her, sparking speculation of an affair.
News of Urban and Kidman’s separation emerged Monday, with Kidman filing for divorce Tuesday, citing “irreconcilable differences” and outlining a parenting plan for their daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith margaret, 14. Sources subsequently alleged to TMZ that Urban was involved with “another woman,” a claim Kidman reportedly dose not dispute.
The guitarist’s father, Chuck Baugh, addressed the situation Thursday, telling the Daily Mail, “I don’t know anything about it, other than she’s a guitar player for him.” He downplayed the nature of their connection,stating,”It’s more of a musician thing than a dating thing,” and adding he had “not heard one way or the other.”
The divorce follows a 16-year marriage. An insider told Page Six that kidman “did not want the separation and was trying to save things,” but ultimately is “sad and moving on with her life-and making sure her kids are taken care of.”
