Kate Beckinsale, the actress known for her roles in the Underworld franchise and Van Helsing, has deleted all posts from her Instagram account and shared a series of cryptic stories, prompting concern among fans. The account, which had 5.4 million followers, was scrubbed of all publicly visible content on February 26, 2026, according to reports.
The sudden removal of her Instagram feed was accompanied by a series of posts to her Instagram Stories featuring screenshots of Google searches related to hidden cameras in homes and apartments, privacy violations, abuse, cyberstalking, and the associated legal ramifications. One story consisted solely of a black screen with the word “Enough” displayed in white letters. Entertainment media outlet PerezHilton.com commented on the actress’s actions, stating they were “sending strength to Kate and hoping that whatever is happening behind the curtain is addressed swiftly and safely.”
The actress’s recent online activity follows a post earlier this month where she responded to criticism regarding her weight. A follower commented, expressing concern about her physique, to which Beckinsale replied that she was experiencing “one of the most deeply painful times of my life” and that “the body keeps the score.” This response, reported by The Independent, came after she shared bikini photos on the platform.
The recent events also occur less than six months after the death of Beckinsale’s mother, Judy Loe, from cancer in July 2025. Beckinsale described her mother as “the compass of my life, the love of my life, my best friend” and spoke of a “huge heart” within her mother’s modest frame. She had previously revealed experiencing fear related to loss, stemming from finding her father deceased when she was five years old.
Representatives for Beckinsale have not yet responded to requests for comment regarding the Instagram purge or the content of her Stories, according to reports from TMZ. The actress, who gained prominence with roles in films like Pearl Harbor (2001) and the Underworld series (beginning in 2003), has not elaborated on the reasons behind her actions.
