Kansas City Shooting: Man Found Dead in Apartment – Local News

Kansas City, MO – A fatal shooting occurred late Tuesday morning in east kansas City, resulting in one confirmed fatality.

authorities were dispatched to teh 5200 block of Oak Leaf Drive, west of Interstate 435, following a report of a shooting received by dispatchers at approximately 11:44 a.m.

upon arrival, officers were directed to an apartment building in the vicinity. Inside one of the units,they discovered an adult male who had sustained gunshot wounds. Paramedics provided immediate medical attention,but the individual was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Details regarding the circumstances leading up to the incident have not yet been released by the police department.
