Global Music Streaming Giant ‌Spotify Names ‌’K-Pop Demon ⁣Hunters’‍ Soundtrack Among Year’s Best

Spotify’s “Wrapped 2025” year-end data reveals ‍the soundtrack to the Netflix hit K-Pop Demon Hunters (“Kadehun”) secured the ⁢second spot on its list of the world’s most popular albums. The unexpected success of the OST signals a broadening​ global appetite for Korean-produced ​music beyond customary K-pop groups and demonstrates the power of streaming platforms to ‌elevate soundtracks to chart-topping status.

the Kadehun OST outperformed albums ⁤from established American superstars including Taylor Swift, ‌Lady Gaga, and Kendrick Lamar, landing at number two globally. Lead single “Golden” ⁤from the⁤ soundtrack ‌achieved seventh place in spotify’s ranking of the top songs of the year.
