Juventus Eyeing Daniel Muñoz with Potential Swap Deal
TURIN, ITALY - Juventus is preparing a renewed push to sign Crystal Palace right-back Daniel Muñoz, with the London club reportedly seeking upwards of €25 million for the Colombian international. Though, sources indicate Juventus believes the price could significantly decrease if they include Lloyd Kelly in the negotiation.
Muñoz, who joined Crystal Palace from Genk in early 2024, quickly established himself as a key player. He featured in 37 of 38 league matches during the 2024/25 season, contributing both defensively and offensively with goals and assists. He has continued this strong form into the current campaign, consistently impacting matches with his energetic play and contributions to both attack and defense.
While Juventus is leading the chase, they face competition from Barcelona, who are looking to bolster their right-back options. Barcelona manager Hansi Flick views Muñoz’s versatility – capable of playing as both a traditional and inverted full-back – as a valuable asset. Atlético Madrid and other unnamed European clubs are also monitoring the situation.
The potential inclusion of Kelly in a swap deal could prove crucial for Juventus, offering Crystal Palace a ready-made replacement and possibly lowering the overall financial outlay for Muñoz’s transfer.
