Jon Hamm Dancing: Bad Bunny, Apple TV & Joyful Moments

February 24, 2026 Rachel Kim – Technology Editor Technology

Jon Hamm was visibly enthralled during Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl LXI halftime reveal on Sunday, dancing and gesturing enthusiastically from the sidelines, a moment captured and widely circulated on social media. The actor’s animated reaction underscored a publicly known admiration for the Puerto Rican artist that has grown over the past year.

Footage shared by the NFL showed Hamm jumping and smiling as Bad Bunny performed a medley including “Yo Perreo Sola” and “Voy a Llevarte Pa’ PR,” punctuated by a segment of Daddy Yankee’s 2004 hit “Gasolina.” This wasn’t a spontaneous display of fandom; Hamm has previously attended at least four of Bad Bunny’s concerts, including a performance in Puerto Rico where he was photographed wearing a floral shirt and bucket hat.

Hamm’s support for Bad Bunny extends beyond concert attendance. He made a cameo appearance during Bad Bunny’s hosting debut on Saturday Night Live in October 2025, seated in the audience in the same floral outfit, and was playfully referenced by the artist, who dubbed him “Juan Jamón.” In a recent column for Air Mail, Hamm openly acknowledged his enthusiasm, stating, “As the Internet has seemingly latched onto, yes, I’m a huge Bad Bunny fan.”

The actor’s public displays of support haven’t gone unnoticed. Social media users reacted to his presence at the Super Bowl, with some noting the contrast between his enthusiastic support and criticism of the performance from others, such as “Real Housewives of New York City” star Jill Zarin, who lamented a perceived lack of “white people” in the show, seemingly overlooking Lady Gaga’s guest appearance.

Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl performance itself drew over 128 million viewers, and even garnered praise from some who typically align with opposing political viewpoints. The artist recently won Album of the Year at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards, further cementing his position as a major force in popular music.
