JoJo Siwa Reveals Wedding Plans with Chris Hughes, Dismisses Romance “Fake” Claims

Siwa revealed details about her vision for the ceremony, including a baby-blue color scheme and a collaborative approach to the music selection, in a new interview with The Sun’s Fabulous magazine.
The couple’s whirlwind romance has sparked skepticism from some, but Siwa emphatically dismissed claims that their relationship is not genuine. “It’s funny, a lot of peopel think that it’s fake. And I can see where people would go: ‘Ahh, it’s too good to be true. That’s too perfect.’ No, trust me, I agree with them. It is indeed too perfect.It’s magic. But it’s real,” she stated. Siwa added that she’s learned to disregard criticism, prioritizing the genuine connection she shares with Hughes.
Siwa also shared that she is focused on the future with Hughes, contrasting it with her past relationship.Reflecting on her ex, Kath Ebbs, and the negative comments made about her current relationship, Siwa expressed gratitude for recognizing the relationship wasn’t right, stating, “I’m just lucky enough that I saw things when I did. I could have spent more time in my life being in a bad place. And I’d rather not do that.”
Regarding the wedding itself,Siwa emphasized the importance of shared decision-making. “A wedding is a two-person thing. So we would have to decide what it looks like,” she explained. A key point of discussion is the wedding playlist, with Siwa hoping to introduce Hughes to her favorite 90s and 2000s pop groups like NSYNC and the Backstreet Boys, while he shares his love for artists like The 1975. Despite their public profiles, the couple intends to maintain some privacy. “We always like to keep some stuff to ourselves, too,” Siwa said.
