JAMMU: The 2nd B.B. Choudhary Memorial Badminton Tournament concluded today at the Police Line Badminton Hall.The event was organized by the choudhary family,particularly Indu Bhushan,in collaboration with the Kings Badminton Club.
The tournament honors B.B. Choudhary, a noted sports enthusiast with a decade-long association with the J&K Police and the Badminton Hall.
Closing Ceremony Highlights
Sh Vinod Kumar, IPS, DIG, IRP, Jammu Zone, served as the Chief Guest for the closing ceremony, while Sh. Gulzar Singh Slathia, former IGP, presided over the event.
Sports are a key way to keep healthy and away from all intoxication.
Sh Vinod Kumar IPS also expressed his gratitude for the efforts of Indu Bhushan and his family and distributed prizes to the tournament winners.
Tournament Overview
More than 200 players participated in the tournament, attracting a significant number of sports enthusiasts. Attendees included Dr. O.D. Sharma, Vice President of the Badminton Association of India, and numerous senior players.
Matches were supervised by Sukhdev Singh, Anil Gurkha, Rohan Slathia, and Yasir Choudhry.
