Gonzalo Galdós, President of IPAE Business Action, highlighted the significant changes implemented by President Javier Milei in the past year and a half, specifically citing a reduction in inflation and bureaucratic processes.Argentina has faced periods of extremely high inflation,but Milei’s administration has begun to address thes challenges,according to Galdós.
Galdós further emphasized that peru is currently navigating a “very complex and critical” national stage, encompassing political, economic, and social dimensions. He noted a public desire for new leadership and a clear direction for the country, placing increased expectations on the private sector to offer guidance and solutions.
According to Galdós, entrepreneurs feel a “deep sense of obligation” to leverage this possibility to voice their concerns and contribute to resolving the current challenges.This translates into a demand for active participation in the search for viable solutions. The Confiep (Confederación Nacional de Instituciones Empresariales Privadas) has previously urged the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) to resist unreasonable proposals from Congress, demonstrating the private sector’s willingness to engage in policy discussions.
CADE Executives 2025 is notably timely, occurring just months before Peru’s General Elections in 2026.
