Jamie Campbell Bower underwent an extensive conversion to portray Vecna in “Stranger Things,” spending a total of 70 hours in the makeup chair. The actor’s readiness process, recently shared in a video, revealed the dedication behind the villain’s chilling appearance.
Throughout the show’s five seasons, Vecna emerged as the primary antagonist responsible for the evils plaguing Hawkins. Bower’s first appearance as Vecna was at the end of the first chapter of the fourth season.While the character was initially seen with Bower’s natural face in earlier episodes, the reveal of his villainous form was a major surprise for audiences.
The final season of “Stranger Things” is being released in stages on netflix. The first four episodes premiered on November 26th, with the second part - consisting of three episodes - arriving on December 25th at 10pm. The concluding chapter will be available on December 31st, also at 10pm.
