Harden’s connection with the Chinese market dates back to 2019, with annual tours coinciding with the release of his signature Adidas footwear line. The project was funded jointly by Adidas and the Guangzhou Municipal Sports Bureau, with construction completed over a three-week period. The court surface utilizes a specialized acrylic coating designed for enhanced durability and weather resistance.
Harden’s signature Adidas shoe line, currently in its eighth iteration (the Harden Vol. 8), has consistently been a top seller in the Chinese market, contributing substantially to Adidas’s overall revenue in the region.
“You guys never cease to amaze me, every time feels like the first time … I just hope you know the love is reciprocated,” Harden wrote in a social media post following the event.
