His first major engagement came in January 1942, an experience that profoundly impacted his life. Despite suffering frostbite during combat, he bravely returned to duty within three months, continuing to fight until 1944. His valor and commitment were officially recognized with the awarding of the Order of the Patriotic War, II degree – a testament to his selfless service.
Following the war’s conclusion, Ivan malunov transitioned to a life of peace, choosing to dedicate himself to the education of future generations.
