Italian Motorway Traffic Updates – August 3, 2025

Traffic Updates: A14 and A25 Highways – Italy, November 16, 2023

Breaking: As of 8:49 PM CET on November 16, 2023, notable traffic disruptions are reported on both the A14 Adriatic and A25 Torano-Pescara highways due to adverse weather conditions and infrastructure issues. Motorists are advised to exercise extreme caution and check conditions before traveling.

A14 Adriatic Highway – Current Conditions

Strong Winds: Multiple sections of the A14 are experiencing strong winds. Between kilometer 505.0 and kilometer 453.8, near Vast south and Imperial Poggio in both directions, a 51.2 km stretch is affected. A separate wind warning is in place between San Benedetto del Tronto and Giulianova, spanning kilometers 334.4 to 311.7 (22.7 km) in both directions. These conditions were reported at 7:35 PM CET.

Rainfall: Earlier today, widespread rainfall impacted travel. From 2:09 PM CET, rain was reported between Ancona South and imperial Poggio (kilometers 505.0 to 230.4, a 274.6 km stretch).Prior to that,at 12:41 PM CET,rain fell between Senigallia and Ancona South (kilometers 230.4 to 194.5, 35.9 km). Further north, between Catholic and Senigallia (kilometers 194.5 to 144.2, 50.3 km), rain was reported at 12:40 PM CET.

Service Disruption: The camper service area at The Savest Ovest, heading towards Taranto, is currently closed due to a system fault, as of 6:47 PM CET. Motorists utilizing camper services should plan accordingly.

A25 Torano-Pescara highway – Current Conditions

Strong Winds: A 7.3 km section of the A25, between Bussi-Popoli and torre de ‘passeri-Casauria (kilometers 157.2 to 149.9), is experiencing strong winds in both directions. This was reported at 8:49 PM CET.
