IShowSpeed Expresses Disappointment as GTA 6 Release Pushed to 2026
LOS ANGELES, CA – Online streamer Darren Jason Watkins Jr., known as ishowspeed, voiced his frustration following Rockstar Games’ proclamation delaying the release of Grand Theft Auto VI to november 19, 2026. The postponement, revealed on Rockstar’s official X (formerly Twitter) account, has sparked disappointment among millions of fans, including the popular streamer.
The delay marks the second time the highly anticipated game’s launch has been pushed back, originally slated for a 2025 release before being moved to May 2026. Rockstar Games cited the need for additional polish, stating the extra months will ensure the game meets player expectations. However, for IShowSpeed, the extended wait feels like an eternity.

The 20-year-old continued, painting a picture of a drastically different future by the time the game arrives: “I’ma have kids.I’ma have a wife. I’ma be married.”
He further elaborated, imagining a life with pets: “I’ma have a pet dog. I’ma have a cat.” Speed concluded, “I’ma be a whole new man when this st come out. What the fk, man?! Why?! Why, bruh?!”

I’mma be,like,50 years old! I might not even be alive!” He added,”Oh,my god! They’re making us wait so long! Oh,my god!” and “Are you serious?! We’re going to be old! 2025,y’all.”
