Apple Launches iPhone Air, Priced Alongside iPhone 16 Plus

The iPhone Air starts at $999 for the 256GB configuration, matching the price of the iPhone 16 Plus with equivalent storage.
This new offering introduces a different price-storage dynamic for consumers. Unlike the iPhone 16 Plus, which offers a $899 entry point with 128GB of storage, the iPhone Air begins at the 256GB tier. Additional configurations include a 512GB model for $1,199 – again, the same price as the iPhone 16 Plus – and a new 1TB option available for $1,399. The introduction of the iPhone Air provides customers with another choice within the iPhone family, potentially appealing to those seeking a balance between features and cost.
