International Tourists Can Now Book Whoosh High-Speed Train Tickets via All Indonesia Platform
Travelers coming to Indonesia can now secure passes for the Whoosh high-speed railway straight through the All Indonesia digital platform to proceed with their trips to Bandung or Karawang in West Java. This program went live on Friday, the 16th of October 2026, following the official establishment of an alliance between the Indonesian Directorate General of Immigration and PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC).
Partnership Formalised During Anniversary Celebrations
The agreement was signed by Director General of Immigration Hendarsam Marantoko and KCIC President Director Dwiyana Slamet Riyadi. The formalisation coincided with KCIC’s anniversary celebrations on Friday. Through the collaboration, international passengers who complete their arrival declaration via All Indonesia can access the Whoosh ticket-booking website directly through a link embedded in the platform.
Travelers can arrange their onward transportation using their mobile devices without needing to download a separate application. Marantoko stated that the agency wants the ease of travel to extend beyond the immigration checkpoint. Upon arrival in Indonesia, it should be just as simple for travelers to continue their journeys, connecting international arrival services with modern transportation to offer a unified access point.
High Ridership Drives Integration of Arrival Gateways
The partnership arrives amid strong public interest in the high-speed rail network. As of July 2026, official data shows that the service has accommodated upwards of 16.9 million passenger trips since it first launched. By August 2026, foreign nationals had accounted for 944,087 passenger journeys on Whoosh. These metrics highlight the potential for integrating international arrival gateways with transport connections across West Java.

The All Indonesia platform streamlines the arrival declaration process by consolidating immigration, customs, health, and quarantine services onto a single digital interface. International passengers can complete their arrival declarations up to three days before entry. As of October 2026, the All Indonesia service had been utilized by 29,119,141 international passengers.
Data Exchange and Security Protocols
Beyond ticketing access, the agreement between the Directorate General of Immigration and KCIC includes the exchange of passenger data and information. The arrangement is designed to support immigration oversight while maintaining established security standards and protecting personal data.
Marantoko emphasized that the initiative reflects the implementation of public services that provide direct benefits to the community, noting that cross-sector innovation will continue to be developed to enhance travel efficiency.
