IFE to Extend Train Service Oct 24 for Caracas-Magallanes, says EL UNIVERSAL
The Instituto de Ferrocarriles del Estado will run a special late-night transport service on Saturday, October 24, 2026, extending operations so that the final train departs La Rinconada station at 11:30 p.m. to help fans return home safely after the opening Caracas-Magallanes baseball game, EL UNIVERSAL reported. The information was officially made known through the social media accounts of the public body (@ifetrenvzla).
What time does the game start and when does the special train leave?
The matchup between the Leones del Caracas and the Navegantes del Magallanes at the Estadio Monumental Simón Bolívar is scheduled for an 8:00 p.m. start. According to EL UNIVERSAL, actions on the field are estimated to wrap up near 11:00 p.m., giving attendees enough time to reach the nearby terminal station immediately after the final out.
The extended service bridges the capital with the Valles del Tuy region. Laiguana.tv noted that the final train leaving the Caracas station at 11:30 p.m. will head directly toward Charallave and Cúa, stopping to serve travelers returning to Charallave Norte, Charallave Sur, and Cúa. The measure seeks to provide secure transport so that fans can fully enjoy the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP) game and return to their homes without inconveniences.

What are the rules for passengers using the railway system on game night?
While the state railway agency runs its campaign promising safe transport regardless of the game’s outcome, standard operating rules remain strictly enforced. The agency reiterated to users that regulations regarding service conditions will remain in effect, recalling that the entry of pets and companion animals will continue to be restricted in the facilities and system hygiene for reasons of health and operational security.
The transit authority advises spectators leaving the sports venue to plan their exit carefully to match the strict departure schedule of the final train.
