ICO Germany Prepares for 2026 World Championships Under Renshi Marco Tank

The ICO Germany national team has been finalized after more than 150 people applied and 40 athletes were selected, as reported by hlsports.de. Under the direction of ICO Germany Renshi Marco Tank, the German delegation is actively preparing for the upcoming World Championships.

Including athletes, trainers, supervisors, and additional team members, the broader German delegation encompasses approximately 70 people who will represent the nation on the international stage in France. The selection process involved high demands, focusing not solely on titles and prior successes, but equally on attitude, teamwork, and the readiness to assume responsibility. For the ICO Germany, the preparations mark the beginning of the decisive phase on the path to the 2026 World Championship.

President Tank Selects 40 Athletes for World Cup

More than 150 athletes applied for a spot on the national squad. Ultimately, Renshi Marco Tank and the executive committee selected 40 athletes for the upcoming global competition.

Tank emphasized that representing the nation is both an honor and an obligation. Being able to represent Germany at a World Cup is a great honor. A place on the national team is not something to be taken for granted. Those who represent our country must not only excel athletically, but also be role models as individuals. Tank stated regarding the strict criteria for selection.

Tank Emphasizes Collective Effort over Individual Performance

Drawing on his background as a multi-time world champion across different federations and four separate categories, Tank shapes his high expectations for the current national team. However, he maintains that a successful organization relies on collective effort rather than a single individual.

An organization should never depend on just one person. What’s crucial is that it’s backed by a team that shares responsibility, supports each other, and sticks together even in difficult situations. Tank explained, highlighting the core values of discipline, respect, cohesion, and high performance that define ICO Germany’s preparations for 2026.

Building Trust Beyond Federation Boundaries

Marco Tank maintains a vision of community that extends well beyond the borders of ICO Germany itself. Over many years, numerous athletes, trainers, and officials from other martial arts federations have placed their trust in him.
