Unboxing and First Impressions

Design and build Quality
The iBUYPOWER AW4 360 mm cooler aligns with the standard design of most 360 mm AIO coolers, featuring a single radiator, two hoses, and a combined block integrating a copper CPU contact plate with a liquid pump. iBUYPOWER uses black sleeved low-permeation rubber tubing for enhanced flexibility and aesthetics.
The radiator,measuring 397 mm in length and 27 mm in thickness,requires a case that can accommodate three 120 mm fans and provides a total clearance of 55 mm when paired with fans. It features a dual-pass cross-flow design with small fins soldered onto thin, oblong tubes.
The main block features a smooth, round body with a high-gloss semi-clear top cover displaying the company logo. The LEDs create a faux 3D visual effect. The block includes 90° fittings for the hoses and two cables for power and RGB lighting.
The squircle contact plate at the bottom of the block is attached with eight screws and features a sufficiently smooth and flat surface with a pre-applied thermal pad.
The RGB lighting is present only at the top of the main cooling block. It syncs with other RGB-equipped parts connected to the motherboard’s RGB controller. The lighting will not function without a compatible RGB controller.
