Florida police have initiated a medical investigation into the passing of wrestling icon Hulk Hogan,whose birth name is Terry Bollea. The legendary figure died Thursday morning at a Florida hospital after emergency services spent over an hour attempting to revive him at his residence. Authorities have confirmed that no criminal activity is suspected, but the circumstances surrounding his death will be examined as part of a standard procedure.
During a press conference held thursday,Major Nate burnside of the Clearwater Police Department elaborated on the situation. “The Clearwater Police Department conducts a medical investigation, which is the standard procedure in this type of business,” Burnside stated. “At present, there is no indication that there was a crime or suspicious activity in connection with this call.”
Burnside further detailed the emergency response, explaining, “Shortly before 10 a.m., the Clearwater Police Department intervened at a house located in block 1000 on Avenue El Dorado for a medical emergency call. It was than discovered that Terry Bollea, also known as Hulk Hogan, suffered from a serious medical problem. Plant, where he died at 11:17 a.m.”
