Huawei Device Indonesia launched its flagship smartwatch lineup, the Huawei Watch GT 7 Series, on Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2026, introducing advanced health monitoring powered by artificial intelligence, professional outdoor sports features, and extended battery life to the Indonesian market. The rollout includes two primary lines: the standard Huawei Watch GT 7 and the Huawei Watch GT 7 Pro.
Advanced Health Intelligence and Monitoring Tools
The new series arrives as a successor to the Watch GT 6, bringing upgraded physiological tracking tools under an umbrella Huawei calls Advanced Health Intelligence. Among these additions is a Coronary Heart Disease Risk Study, which analyzes continuous daytime and nighttime physiological data to deliver personalized cardiovascular risk assessments. This tool operates alongside existing ECG, pulse wave arrhythmia analysis, and arterial stiffness assessment functions.
The devices also feature a Diabetes Risk Study designed to track specific physiological indicators over a span of three to 14 days, including periods of rest and sleep, to offer insights into potential hyperglycemia risks. Huawei noted in its official material that this function serves purely as a self-monitoring tool rather than an official medical diagnosis. Additional mental and physical wellness capabilities include advanced sleep tracking, a physical readiness score, and multi-dimensional emotional wellbeing monitoring.
Titanium Builds, High-Nit Brightness, and Battery Endurance
The Watch GT 7 Series incorporates premium materials, highlighted by titanium bodies and display panels capable of reaching a peak brightness of 3,000 nits for outdoor readability. The manufacturer also introduced EasyCross fluoroelastomer straps for daily wear.
Battery endurance remains a central focus for the GT line. The Huawei Watch GT 7 Pro delivers up to 21 days of power under normal usage conditions. Meanwhile, the standard Huawei Watch GT 7 runs for up to 14 days of daily use, extending to 25 days specifically under trail run mode.
Professional Sports Tracking and Regional Pricing
For outdoor athletes, the Pro variant equips users with specialized tracking profiles, including Smart Golf Insight preloaded with more than 17,000 golf course maps globally. The lineup also supports advanced trail running with checkpoints and estimated time of arrival calculations, over 3,000 ski resort maps, dive capabilities down to 40 meters, cycling performance metrics, and third-party racket sport integration through applications like Goodshot, Tennix, and Padel Point.
The smartwatches maintain compatibility with both Android and iOS devices, while integrating QR code payment transactions via the LinkAja digital wallet in Indonesia.
